Well here I am at Glastonbury – I’ve heard some much about these festivals, I must say it’s a new experience for me, there’s simply nothing like it where I come from. But the folk seem friendly enough, I bumped into this chap “Birdy” outside the Sustrans Change Your World tent. He asked me to remind everyone it’s not too late to join the campaign and pledge to make your next journey on foot or by bike. Just click your little mouse on www.changeyourworld.org.uk and join in – I have! You’ll be in good company – pop lovely Jamelia and TV wildlife Spring-watcher Martyn Hughes-Games have joined the gang.
I’ll see if I can persuade Shakira and Stevie to join too…now where will I find them I wonder..?
I had a delightful day with 10,000 close personal friends enjoying Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride. Well done to everyone who pedalled their little socks off on the day.
I had a pootle on a penny farthing, got back in my seventies groove with the Choppers and when the temperature rose a 99 cornet hit the spot!
I can’t get enough of these cycle tracks. Come and meet me tomorrow morning in Bristol and tell me what you think of them.
Filming is complete - now the team is on to the edit.
- After a spot of fishing Cornelius stopped for a nice cuppa and a chin wag.
What a marvelous day in Cardiff, never mind the weather. Happy people everywhere and I met some Sustrans Rangers outside the large building that looks like a beetle.
. . and unfortunately the weather Wales has in store for today.
